Lexus's big LX570 brute-ute receives a mid-cycle update for the 2013 model year. In so doing, it becomes the second Lexus product after the GS sedan to don the brand's controversial spindle grille.
Also new are its quad headlamps with LED daytime running lights, 20-inch wheels, fog lamps, side mirrors with integrated turn signals, and front and rear bumpers. The interior gets a few new trim bits and an easy-entry driver's seaLexus's already competent automatic four-wheel-drive system gets a new feature known as Multi-Terrain Select. It's similar to Land Rover's Terrain Response System—albeit without the handy pictograms—and allows drivers to cater powertrain settings to the driving surface.
Other than all that, the LX570 is the same Armageddon-grade, eight-passenger luxo-beast it's always been.
