American Idol : Kelly Clarkson returned with country singer Jason Aldean

The original 'American Idol', Kelly Clarkson returned to the stage where it all began for her to perform 'Don’t You Wanna Stay' with country singer Jason Aldean.

The original 'American Idol', Kelly Clarkson returned to the stage where it all began for her to perform 'Don’t You Wanna Stay' with country singer Jason Aldean.

Kelly Clarkson appeared on 'Idol' Thursday to perform the duet.

The first ever American Idol was not the only one to perform April 14 show following the shocker last week. R&B singer Rihanna also appeared on the show to sing 'California King Bed'.






The news of Clarkson's return to the 'Idol' stage emerged just after the singer performed her Greatest Hits, including 'Miss Independent,' 'Walk Away,' and 'Since U Been Gone' on 'The Ellen Degeneres Show'. She had earlier announced on Facebook that her fifth studio album will hit stores in September.
